Here's mah story, so far, I will update it often, so check back if you are interested. I was motivated to write this story when things began happening in my life, as you will later read in it.
Early morning sun slipped through the cracks in between the blinds of the window. The warm rays glinted silently on the face of a young girl. She moved, slowly arising from her slumber. She gazed around the room sleepily. Scrabbling for a battered blue phone at her side she looked at the time. 9:47. She closed her eyes and layed back against the pillow for a moment letting out a deep sigh. She opened her eyes and looked at her large silver T.V. She frowned as she saw a guinea pig, a duck, and a turtle singing on the screen. She grabbed her phone and swung her legs off of the bed. She swayed a bit as she landed on the mattress laying just beside her bed. When she regained her balance, she stumbled over to the T.V, pressing the power button, the room went silent as she stumbled out of the door.
As she walked silently down the small tan painted hallway she could see the entire layout of the house. A large, dark green living room greeted her, with an entry way with a large green rug on the other side of her. Up ahead there were piles and piles of baby toys. Bowling pins, blocks, books, even a small pony on wheels. A big screen T.V sat in the living room, she noticed it was on and she stumbled over, bending over to turn it off. When she was finished she rubbed her eyes standing up again. Seeing more clearly now, she gazed at their large kitchen. A fridge greeted her. A tan island sat in the midst of it all. A long green rug sat between it and a long counter of the same tan color. A sink lay directly across from the fridge, and next to it was another large tan counter. A pine table sat in front of two large windows. A T.V sat in a cubby hole directly across it, she noticed this was on as well. “God bless it!” she said angrily “How many T.Vs do we need on anyway?” she asked her younger brother angrily. She didn’t get an answer. “Huh?” she asked again losing her patience. “Um, 1?” he replied appearing from right in front of the TV in the back living room, which was also on, but this one, was showing the results to his latest Guitar Hero song. She shook her head and glared at him turning away, her eyes still aching from sleep.
As she stumbled back towards the fridge, she stopped, opening a high cabinet right next to the fridge. She grabbed a small green cup. She set it down loudly on the counter and opened the fridge. She gazed at it. Inside it there was two gallons of milk and another one that was about half full. There was some leftovers from the night before…Or at least she thought that’s what it was. She grabbed the half-full container of milk. She began un-screwing the black lid on it. She set it on top of the black and brown microwave as she poured some milk into the cup. She screwed the lid back on it and put it back into the fridge. She grabbed her cup and took a sip letting the cool white liquid run over her dry throat. She began walking towards her room then. As she entered her room she looked around. She saw the bright green walls, the dragonflies by her bed, the big white square above her bed, which had been removed earlier, but that was a different story. As she set her cup down on the large curving desk in the corner, she heard a noise. She whirled around, and saw nothing. She hit the button on the T.V, making it come to life immediately.
She stumbled towards her bed, climbing up onto it and digging down beside it searching for a small black remote. As she felt it she gripped it and sat on her bed pointing it at her T.V. Small brown numbers appeared on the screen. 43. She smiled as SpongeBob SquarePants’s theme song played. She threw the remote down on her bed and slid off of it. She walked towards the desk, grabbing the lid of her green laptop pulling it up. She pressed the power button then grabbed her cup, taking a sip out of it.
