Character Name: Kai

Breed: Siberian Huskey
Age: 9 months
Appearance: The traditional huskey pattern, white underbelly, legs and the bottom half of her muzzle. The coal black fur on her back gives her the pure-bred look she deserves to go with her papers. She has blue eyes, a curly tail, and a black nose to go with her monochromatic fur. The only thing different about her apperance is the diamond on her forhead. Her teeth and claws are average size.
Personality: Curious and brave, Kai will get into just about everything from dark, haunted caves to rabbit holes. She's kind, passionate, and ready to learn. Though, she may be a bit overconfident, taking on challanges that even an experianced dog would'nt consider attempting. She's not a quitter, thats for sure.
History: Kai grew up as a purebred dog strutting down the showring in her diamond-studded collar. She lived with an old couple in their inner-city cape house, sleeping with them in their human bed and eating scraps from the table. The woman passed away shortly after Kai's first month of life. The man, not wanting the responsability of a family of huskeys, gave the mother and Kai's two brothers to the man's son when they were ready.
She was fine with living with the man, even when her family left. The son trained Kai as a showdog and enterd her in compitions, winning a single blue-ribbon. The man took care of her and loved her. Kai was happy there. However, she wanted to see the outside world. She wanted to see what eles the was. Is there something more than this pamperd life? She would ask herself.
But it wasnt the way she wanted it to happen. She remebered sirens, and people. Not too many people, just three or four. The man had collapsed unexpecedly after breakfast one day. Scared, Kai ducked under the sofa and watched as they took him out on a strecher. After they left, and the sirens had faded into the distance, Kai took the chance and booked it outside.
Kai was nine monthes old when this happened. Alone and confused in mid winter, she now wanders the streets on her own. How could this happen? What did happen? She askes herself. All she wants is to go home.

"This is what you wanted, isnt it?" The small, black and white dog asked herself. "This is what you've been waiting for, right?" Her head was down and her tail dragged behind her. The sun was high in the clear, blue sky. The birds were singing and there were children playing in a nearby yard. It was almost taunting, the way the world seemed so happy while Kai walked these streets, alone and hungry.

"I just want to go home" She pleaded to the first star she saw that night. When you wished on that star, it was supposed to help you, right?
