Twenty years have passed, and the radiation levels are still dropping. Humans have died out, the world now completely covered in sun drenched desert. Few places of refuge from the heat linger, but you can be sure that the ones that do are taken over by packs of dogs.
Little water can be found, and hardly any plants grow. The world suffers from huge dust storms that kick up in the dry season. The wet season brings water, but not a lot.
Few animals survived the aftermath of war, but the ones that did are taking over, learning how to thrive in the desolate world they call home.
