Hidy walked away form the gravel roads, making up her mind that she would survive on her own, unless she found others.
Hidy cam across cliffs, made of red rock, she wasn't much afraid of hights, it was the fact that the cliffs were crumbling. She could hear rocks falling down the side, each step she took. "What have I gotten myself into?"
She sighed and looked back towards the gravel road.
"No, I can't go back, I just can't."
Thoughts rushed through her head, making her dizzy, she lost track of where she was stepping, luckily she regained balance. The trail she was walking on was thin, and crumbly, she wanted to get off of it as soon as possible.
"Why, did I choose to go this way? I could have gone down a different trail, but no I have to get into sticky, or rather crumbly, situations."
She laughed lightly at the small joke she had made.
She sniffed the air, trying to smell for any dogs around, but there was nothing right now.
"Someone save me."
She sighed again, more rocks crumbled down, sounding like a small avalanche. The noise echoed through her head, making it sound louder than it really was. "Keep steady."
Not to mention, it was winter, which makes it slippery too.
"I could've found a nice den, but no, Hidy can't do that, she has to get into awkward situations."
Sh felt crazy talking to herself, but she had been alone for 3 month's with no one to talk to except herself.
