Black walked along the edge of the shore. She took a deep breath of the salty sea air, enjoying the crispness. She enjoyed the feeling she sand between her toes. She rolled around in the water for a moment, to get at an itch that she could not reach. She had decided to spend the day at the beach, it was one of the only places that she could think freely. Getting up and shaking the wet sand off her fur, she trotted down to a large log, that she could lye down on.

Sunsets never were so brightSoft golden eyes scanned the horizon. The smell of salt mixed with another canine's scent stung her nose. Auds twitched as the sound of splashing water echoed in them. Bleached frame moved along delicately upon steady limbs that seemed to blur as they carried her along quickly. Tassel swayed with ease behind her. The presence of the other didn't even seem to phase her. Journey had longed for company for a long time but also she wasn't sure if she'd enjoy the company once she had it. Then again Journey was an optimist of sorts so there could be no harm in at least meeting the canine briefly.
Pillars carried her toward the fae, her pale paws never once touched the water though that didn't stop the sand from clinging to them. Her paws sunk with each step. Her soft eyes soon fell upon the dark female and remained emotionless. She approached silently; now that there was another there she wasn't sure what to say or even sure how the stranger would react to her own presence. Slowly and delicately Journey lowered her rear to the sandy ground and curled her fluffy banner around her hind limbs. Auds flicked forward and waited for her to speak; it was a bit awkward sitting in silence but it wasn't like she had anything better to do. And as the sun glistened off her ivory pelt a yawn took her over; charcoal lips peeled back from her shiny ivory fangs and her small pink tongue slipped over her small pointed teeth and curled slightly before slipping back into her mouth allowing her lips to hide them away once more. She gave her bleached skull a gentle shake then turned her eyes from the fae to the water foaming over the shore then back again. And skies never so Blue.
