Hidy found herself on an old gravel road. She sighed and sat on the road. "I should have stayed at home, someone could have saved me." She mumbled sadly. She had been on her own for almost 5 months, but every day she regretted leaving, but she can't bring herself to head back to the house. Hidy started walking forward again, she had to get somewhere with food, she had to pick what she wanted to do, she had to pick between the two roads, the one where she would survive on her own, or the one where she would go back home, to the one that beat her. She looked at the two roads, and chose to survive on her own for now.

Kia was padding down the old human gravel road. The rocks underneath her paws made stone bruise on them so often, she couldn't feel them at all. Then she saw a little dot on the horizon, and she smelled a female. She quickened her pace and saw that this dog was about her size, a Bernese Mountain Dog. She herself was a mix of large breeds, great Dane and Husky, an odd combination, but still the same. She licked a scar on her shoulder that was itching in the heat. She turned away and looked at the sunrise. Then she said, still staring off into the sky, "It's hard to choose which path to go, isn't it? I myself never take a path if i can't decide, I just walk down the middle." She let out a small breath of laughter and turned around to see the femmora, and flashed a smile.

Hidy laughed under her breath. "Yeah, but I think I know which path to take." She turned to see the larger dog. "Hi, I am Hidy." Her eyes flicked back and forth, she was wondering what road she really should take. She sighed and put her head down.

Hidy Sighed and looked at the roads again. "I know which one I am taking." And with that she headed in the opposite direction of the house he had come from. She sighed happily and kept walking, trying to find someone, or somehthing.
